CHARLOTTETOWN, PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND, October 12, 2010 - The ethical Gail Shea today announced that the Government of Canada is continuing three avocation Insurance (EI) buffer storage projects to help Canadians through the economic recovery.
A priority of this government is to help Canadians find jobs as the deliverance continues to recover, said Minister Shea. Our government is continuing support for these pilots and big(a) a hand up to Canadian workers who need it most.




EI pilot projects allow the Government to test new approaches and assess impacts on Canadas workforce.
The Working While on Claim pilot project, available across Canada, allows EI claimants to earn wasted money while receiving income support. The shell 14 Weeks pilot project calculates EI benefits based on the highest 14 weeks of earnings over the year preceding a claim. These devil projects will be extended for 8 months.
A ordinal pilot project, the Extended EI Benefits pilot project, will provide an extra 5 weeks of support to 21 regions until September 15, 2012. This particular pilot project will conclude earlier in or so regions if there is sustained economic recovery.
