The Great Gatsby

The Great Gatsby is a novel by the American generator F. Scott Fitzgerald. Its about a man who has fallen in slam with a woman, but when they forgather, they are unable to be in concert at the time. A fewer years later they meet again and Daisy has married a man called Tom. Gatsby then tries allthing to scramble her to fall for him and leave Tom. He ends up buying a house close by where Tom and Daisy live and has parties every night in her honor to try and impress her. He is part of the newly rich where as Daisy is part of the emeritus money and so this separation is the main seperation between them both. there is a lot more to it than this, you have to read it to very understand it. Its a pretty near(a) curb. I look at the words great and Gatsby work together for a few reasons.
First, Gatsby aspired to greatness and Nick feels that Gatsbys endless capacity for hope makes him greater than everyone else. For instance greater than: Daisy, Tom, and Myrtle. Gatsby throws a lot of parties. Everyone considers him great for this, accept that he is simply doing it because he involves everyone to have a good time and he is being a good host. In reality though its for Daisy. He basically makes his dreams into reality. That is one of his abilities. His talent for self-invention is what gives Gatsby his quality of greatness.




Second, its alliterative, so its easy to remember. Hes a wealthy man of power. Hes the Great Gatsby. It basically says it all on the title. The control is found on how his greatness came to be throughout the whole book and how he took advantage of his greatness.
Finally, nobody would have read a book called Gatsby. The word great makes it seem a procedure more special. It gives it that one touch of making it an interesting book to read. What is more captivating of the title is that its simple but with a lot of meaning to it. It defines the person inside the story.
