A Streetcar named desire shows the illume of Blanches state of mind and sanity as she lives on through the play. I believe this to resemble her life and well- being decreasing with her looks. showing how her view is a unblemished illusion that she is not able to control. She uses her natural beauty as an advantage throughout the play, using it to manipulate other people, and this does not always turn out best for Blanche.
