For a moment I was a bit disconnected as to what the author was talking about in the beginning, solely then I realized that at the bus terminal where she was researching to do her paper on homeless person race was where Ann lived. I was stunned when I read the authors luxuriant description on Anns home. How did she lose it? That is the question that was so mind-boggling. Like, if she was well-nighbody then what did she do to end up on the bench of a bus station? This story honestly doesnt change my perspective on homeless people at all. I feel that they are there because they were on the button being lazy and didnt take care of whatever business that should have been taken care of to become successful. I fully understand the authors view on the homeless, though. To have a home brings one a sand of privacy and stability, and the homeowner/ occupants are able to retreat there from the world any time they please. I just tiret give much sympathy to those without it… Well, only for the children because it isnt their fault their parents didnt make anything of themselves. If starting off as a nobody because they couldnt complete school or put their education to use wasnt the case, then how do you start off as somebody and turn into a nobody? Something had to have gone wrong!



When I move on to the end, I do see why some people would prefer sleeping upwards on a park bench all over in a shaft in an enclosed area. It could probably be frantic injury because theyve been surrounded by walls for so long. Maybe even emotional scarring because a terrible memory still plays over and over in their heads, so they cant bear the judgement of being in a space similar because theyre scared it may happen again.
