The struggle for true identity and be shapes the people we turn into and as a result holds a rich vein for inspiration. The ideals we hold, the religion we practice and the culture from which we have intercourse all contribute to the people we develop into. The struggle to kick the bucket within our identity differs as we attempt to assimilate into impudently cultures, new standards of living and the standards that the media portrays as seen in the poetic plant of Peter Scryzneki, Edward Scissorhands directed by Tim Burton and Stupid Girls composed by P!NK. Each of these resources hold the concept of shaping identity in relation to inspiration.
In the poem Feliks Scryzneki Peter starts to witness his father and his down ways; and this only emphasies Peters longing to suit Asutralia. Peter starts the poem describing his father as a blasphemous man and keeping

This symoblises how Peters father had his semblance values that made him not care about belong in the majority of Australian society. This also suggests how Feliks is his own man, he doesnt belong to anybody; he belongs to himself.
However, the use of the hyperbole
Loved his garden ilk an only child
Spent years walking the perimeter

Ten times around the world.
Shows how much Feliks loves his garden. It also leads to the effrontery that the only place he belongs is in his garden as it reminds him of the old country and this hold fond memories for Feliks and allows him to hold onto to his smooth out heritage through his gardening.
In the third stanza we are fitted to see Peters sense of not belonging through his experiences of Feliks friends.
